After ITR is filed and acknowledged
1. Eligibility for Refund
We want you to be completely satisfied with our services. Our refund policy is as follows:
- Full Refund: If you cancel within 48 hours of purchase and our CA team has not yet started working on your return, you are eligible for a full refund.
- Partial Refund: If work has begun but your ITR has not yet been filed, we may offer a partial refund at our discretion based on the work completed.
- No Refund: Once your ITR has been filed with the Income Tax Department and you have received the ITR-V acknowledgment, no refund is applicable.
2. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:
- Your ITR has been successfully filed and acknowledged
- You provided incorrect information that required re-work
- You did not respond to our CA's queries within 7 days, causing delays
- The quick call consultation (₹49 plan) has been completed
- More than 30 days have passed since the purchase
3. IT Department Refunds vs. Our Refunds
Please note that a "tax refund" from the Income Tax Department (money owed to you by the government) is completely separate from a refund of our service fees. Our refund policy covers only our service charges, not the tax refund from the government.
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund:
- Email us at support@filetaxindia.com with your registered email and order/payment ID
- State the reason for your refund request
- Our team will review and respond within 3 business days
5. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days to your original payment method. Razorpay processing times may vary. You will receive an email confirmation once the refund is initiated.
