Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using FileTax India's platform and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Services Provided

FileTax India provides Income Tax Return (ITR) filing services, tax consultation, and related financial services. Our services are rendered by certified Chartered Accountants registered with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information for your tax filing
  • Upload genuine documents and not submit fabricated or altered records
  • Not use our platform for any fraudulent or illegal purpose
  • Keep your account credentials confidential
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Accuracy of Information

While our CA team exercises professional care in preparing your return, the accuracy of your ITR depends on the information and documents you provide. FileTax India is not liable for errors arising from incorrect, incomplete, or misleading information provided by the client.

5. Payment Terms

All fees are charged in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes. Payments are processed securely through Razorpay. Plans are valid for one financial year's ITR filing only.

6. Refund Policy

7. Confidentiality

We maintain strict confidentiality of all client information in accordance with ICAI guidelines and our Privacy Policy. Your financial data is never sold or shared with unauthorized parties.

8. Limitation of Liability

FileTax India's liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. We are not responsible for delays or errors caused by the Income Tax Department's systems or third-party services.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this platform including text, graphics, logos, and software is the property of FileTax India and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
